Claude "Sonny" Hildreth retired from the FBI after serving 24 years. 19 years were spent in South Texas, handling cases involving financial crimes, surveillance, background investigations, bank robberies and kidnapping. A native Texan, he also served in Los Angeles, California and St. Louis, Missouri.
Margie Hildreth served the FBI for 16 years. Six years were spent in South Texas. She was primarily involved with complex drug trafficking investigations, record searches, report summarizing, asset searches and analysis of investigations. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she worked for 10 years in her hometown of San Antonio where she was involved with major investigations which included the murder of Federal Judge John H. Wood in 1979.
Joseph Hildreth earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Southwest Texas State University in 1993. He returned to his hometown of McAllen, Texas, where he gained valuable experience working for the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office and later with the Harlingen Police Department. He has also earned many continuing education hours in various investigative techniques from former Special Agents of the FBI.
